Educator, born and raised in Kiryat Shmona. Chairman of the Committee on the Rights of the Child of the Knesset and Chairman of the Israel-Guatemala Friendship Association.
She served as Vice President of the College and Director of the School for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the Ohalo Academic College for Teacher Training in Katzrin.
She served for seven years as a member of the City Council in Kiryat Shmona, two years as deputy mayor and five years as head of the Education and Youth portfolio.
During her tenure as head of the Education and Youth portfolio in the city, there was a 5% increase in matriculation eligibility each year and the city received a district education award.
She served as a member on the board of directors of the Tel Hai College of Technology, the Kiryat Shmona community centers and in the Kiryat Shmona Economic Company.
As a Knesset member, she promoted the National Child Safety Plan with the backing and assistance of Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon.
Among other things, she led the Law on the Supervision of the Prices of Camps and Childcare, the Galilee Law, the Law for the Expansion of the Protection of Minors who are Victims of Sexual Violence, while giving testimony in court, and more.
Her father was born in Haifa and her mother was born in Morocco.
Married with three children.
